Funny, I just filed [1] and was _this_ close to poking them about
using two different files for config and state. I will try and throw
this onto the KDE list first, though this might mean Gnome not being
interested. I am not trying to assign blame anywhere, this is my
relative outsider's interpretation and extra caution.
If anyone on this list is using Gnome and/or know a few devs, please
pipe up about it.
